А вот несколько фотографий, которые опубликованы на данном официальном аккаунте удивительной страны Австралия:
Check it out — it's a real life version of the 'clip on' #koala that you find in the souvenir shops! ? This adorable pair was spotted by @kangarooislandodysseys, who run nature-based tours on this scenic island off the coast of @southaustralia. @authentickangarooisland is home to loads of koalas — in fact, there are actually more koalas on ‘KI’ than there are permanent residents, and to give you an idea of how many that is, the island's human population is 4500. Now that's a lot of koalas!
We've gone fishing, don't wait up! ? There was fishing galore happening around Australia yesterday for the first ever national @gonefishingday. As you can see from this photo of Little Beach, weather conditions were certainly optimum in @portstephens — doesn't this look like the perfect place to cast a line? #PortStephens is just one of countless excellent (and rather scenic) fishing spots in @visitnsw, not to mention the thousands of epic fishing hotspots around Australia. Time for another #gonefishingday soon perhaps? Photo: @zacataklures
"Hey mum, is daddy finished surfing yet?" — Only kidding, kangaroos don't surf, but the ones that live at Diggers Camp on the @legendarypacificcoast certainly like to hang out at the beach! Although this lovely spot is part of @visitnsw, it's actually closer to @visitbrisbane — around four hours' drive, to be exact. The tiny community of Diggers Camp is the ideal coastal getaway if you're seeking a peaceful, beachside holiday. You might have to share the beach with the local roos, but we think you'll manage. ? "Wake me up when it's dinner time…" ? It's a tough life for the koalas that live at @wildlifesydneyzoo! This sleepy critter will indeed sleep all the way through til dinner time — koalas like to snooze for up to 20 hours a day. There are five koalas that call this zoo in @sydney's Darling Harbour home, and although there's a good chance they'll be taking a nap when you visit, you might just catch them munching on some gum leaves in between sleeping sessions.
Believe it or not, this vibrant display of colour is actually a massive carpet of tulips! It's the start of the tulip season in @tasmania, which kicked off with festivities last weekend as part of the Bloomin' Tulips Festival. Located on the dramatic sea-cliffs of Table Cape in @tasmaniasnorthwest, these fertile fields explode with colour each year, drawing people from far and wide to walk among this stunning floral spectacle. Wow — it's not every day a humpback whale and its calf come right up to your boat to say g'day! @wanderlustkimberley was on board with @odysseyexpeditions, who run cruises through the spectacular Kimberley region of @westernaustralia, when this curious pair popped up to suss them out. If you like the sound of up-close encounters with marine life, sailing through majestic gorges and hanging out under cascading waterfalls, the Kimberley awaits!
"What kind of snacks have you got there? I might need my spectacles…" — Fergus has become rather fussy in his old age! This fastidious fellow lives at @australiazoo, which is home to both Red and Grey kangaroos who roam around in an open-range enclosure. You can hand-feed them in the 'roo heaven' area, so if you're looking for a new BFF, this hands-on wildlife park in the @visitsunshinecoast is the place for you. Photo: @kylerauphotography
We're taking a mid-week mini break at #TallebudgeraCreek in the @visitgoldcoast — feel free to join us! If being near the ocean is your thing this is the ideal holiday spot for you — the lifestyle here is all about camping, swimming, picnicking, kayaking and fishing. It's also just a short stroll away from Burleigh Heads National Park, where there are beautiful scenic walk trails and lush rainforest to explore. Photo: @twsvisuals
We're on tour with @pennicottjourneys, you're welcome to join us if you'd like! This shot was snapped at #BrunyIsland in @Tasmania, which is one of the locations you'll visit on the Seafood Seduction tour led by knowledgeable local guides who are experts at catching and cooking delicious fresh Tassie seafood. You'll get to pull oysters straight from the ocean, plus watch your guides forage for wild abalone and sea urchins. The seafood is then prepared and served up along with salmon sashimi, rock lobster and local Tasmanian wines and beers. Embrace the food coma — it's inevitable. ??? #RestaurantAustralia
Hello down there, #FortyBasketsBeach — we must say you're looking rather delightful! This is one of @sydney's smaller, lesser-known harbour beaches and you'll find it in the suburb of Fairlight, just around the bay from the beachside hotspot of #Manly. If you're catching the ferry, this beach is around 40 minutes' walk from Manly Wharf, and is part of the Spit to Manly scenic walk trail which stretches for 10km and passes via some of north Sydney's stunning beaches, bays and national park. "Woah, this leaf is exceptional… I'm picking it for biodynamic, am I right?" — The koalas at @symbiozoo are connoisseurs when it comes to leaf selection, which is understandable seeing as they eat about 10% of their body weight in eucalyptus leaves every day! There are seven koalas that live at this wildlife park in @visitnsw, just 45 minutes' drive south of @sydney. When they're not posing for photos, they're content to munch on gum leaves and take long naps — what a life!
Pretending it's the weekend again and taking a scenic Sunday drive along the Sea Cliff Bridge — who'd like to come with us? This incredible feat of engineering spans for 665m on the way into @visitwollongong, a coastal town in @visitnsw, around 90 minutes south of @sydney. If you'd prefer to take your time to soak up the sights, you might want to park your car in the designated areas at either end of the bridge and walk across instead — allow around an hour from the parking area, including time to pose for a selfie. ? Who's looking at who? ? it's not just the snorkellers that are fascinated by the underwater scenery on the #GreatBarrierReef! This turtle was spotted at Norman Reef, an outstanding diving and snorkelling location on the outer edge of the @gbrmarinepark in @tropicalnorthqueensland. This spot is known for its abundant marine life and its crystal clear waters with incredible visibility of up to 30 metres. Photo: @juliaunterwegs
"Umm excuse me — did I say stop?" — Wolverine the koala is rather fond of a good scratch, which is quite evident from the contented look on his face! @currumbinsanctuary volunteer @koalakrusader and Wolverine have had a close bond ever since he came out of the pouch — apparently he's "super playful", and he particularly loves tummy rubs (you don't say!). You can meet Wolverine and even have a photo with him at this wildlife park in the @visitgoldcoast, just an hour's drive south of @visitbrisbane
